Public Health courses provide students with the set of skills and knowledge required to contribute to the better population health and groups within them by the promotion of healthy practices and prevention of diseases, the change and evaluation of health care practices; and the study and control of environmental risks to human health. Students are trained in the use, development, and critical assessment of conceptual simulations, evidence, approaches of analysis, and applied interventions.
Such programs provide them with the skills and knowledge to address varied public health subjects in different income settings. The varied prospectus allows students to choose from a broad range of expertise or to concentrate on focused areas. The program also offers four alternative paths; the general Public Health and three specialist paths of Environment and Health; Health Services and Health Promotion Management.
Students on this program come from diverse backgrounds. Many are health specialists employed at a service or policy level, while others wish to obtain public health skills that they can apply to their work in development, community services, government, research or teaching.
In public health, the main emphasis is on the health of populations and communities. There are several career options in deep research, government or public services or voluntary bodies and non-governmental organisations.
Beginning from a common core, students may grow into positions that range from health care experts, public health analysts, environmental epidemiologists, disease prevention consultants, health policy advisors or public health directors.

Based on the educational institute and course, fees may change depending on different factors, generally, the tuition fees for a full-time international degree is £21100 annually.
All entry fees will be subject to be reviewed annually and may change without prior notice (fees are usually set for international students, for the period of the entry year).
International applicants will be required to pay an additional of £1,000 as a deposit on their tuition fees before a certificate of acceptance for studies is granted. This fee will only be refunded if an immigrate visa is rejected.
Applicants are required to achieve an upper second-class honors degrees in a relevant degree including veterinary science, medicine, dentistry, biological sciences, pharmacy, statistics, geography, psychology politics, and social sciences.
Preference will be given to students with exceptional academic results and proven interested in public health sectors through volunteering, work experience, or research.
