The University of Surrey is a regional university situated in the south-eastern England city of Guildford. The university has excellent links to London, only a 35-minute train ride away. Listed in the Times & Sunday Times University Guide as' University of the Year' for 2016, there are about 16,000 students from over 140 different countries.
In the university, there are three faculties: the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, offering a both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

The main campus of the University of Surrey is located on Stag Hill, near Guildford city center and located close to Guildford Cathedral. A second campus is located at a short distance from Manor Park, and has been developed to develop campus buildings, existing lodging, and sports facilities. London is an hour away by train, with quick access to both airports in Gatwick and Heathrow.
The landscaped grounds surrounding the main campus are a protected area of exceptional natural beauty and include country pubs and famous landmarks like Box Hill, as well as rural acres for walking or cycling.
